Langrock voluntarily disclosed that he made a living from his poker earnings while sitting in the hot seat. Throughout the show, Jauch inquired about Langrock's "occupation," his playing style, and his success in poker. The detailed responses given by Langrock not only captivated the moderator but also piqued the interest of the studio audience and viewers at home. Utilizing a lifeline from the audience to solve the 500,000 euro question, the final question posed no challenge for Sebastian Lang: Drawing from his experience in the hospitality industry, he immediately guessed "waiter." As a result, he became the eighth winner of the grand prize of one million euros.
